I found a simple but tasty way to cook pasta without tomato sauce that I’m getting sick of or cream sauce that is high in calories. Pesto is a great substitution that is also healthy and tastes fresh and original.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Olive oil, onion, dried red pepper, garlic, pesto, pasta.

Wait till the water boils before putting in the pasta. Boil for about 30 minutes or till it is soft. In a separate hot pan, put in olive oil, garlic, red pepper, and chopped onion.

When the garlic turns golden, then add the pasta and pesto sauce, then mix!

I like to melt cheese into my pasta because I like a rich taste in my pasta. I also decorated with pretzel pieces.
